Last night was busy at Thayer High School as the jv and varsity both hosted the Puxico Indians. The jv got things underway beating Puxico in a close one 42-41, and for the varsity they came up short in a 59-46 loss. In the loss the Bobcats were led off the bench with Carter Nicholson putting up 10 followed by Hollis Deckard and Dominick Boyce adding 8 a piece. After the game the “Redbone” Mike Crase got an opportunity to speak with Bobcats Head Coach Matt Pitts on his thoughts on his team’s performance and what he thought of Puxico in the loss.
Then Coach Pitts talked about his team coming off the bench.
The Bobcats will be back in action Monday as they travel to Pocahontas.
