Two Pocahontas, Arkansas residents were injured in a crash Thursday afternoon approximately nine miles north of Alton on Highway 19. According to authorities, the crash occurred when an 83-year-old woman driving a 2013 Buick Encore ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. The driver and a 69-year-old passenger were both injured in the crash. Both individuals were transported to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment of minor injuries.
