NEWARK, N.J. — Emanuel Sharp scored 22 points, Kingston Flemings added 21 and No. 8 Houston used some excellent long-range shooting to beat No. 14 Arkansas 94-85 on Saturday.
Freshman guard Darius Acuff Jr. led Arkansas (9-3) with 27 points and seven assists. Malique Ewin added 20 points and nine rebounds off the bench for the Razorbacks, who had won four in a row.
HATTIESBURG, Miss. (12/20/25) – Five Red Wolves reached double digits on the scoreboard as Arkansas State men’s basketball (9-4, 2-0 SBC) completed a four-game road trip with a 93-86 victory at Southern Miss (7-6, 1-1 SBC) on Saturday afternoon at Reed Green Coliseum.
Chandler Jackson led the team with 18 points while Jaxon Ellingsworth (16), Jalen Hampton (15), Christian Harmon (14) and Royal Blue Smith (10) joined him in double figures. Harmon posted a career and team-high five assists while Hampton led all rebounders with seven in the contest.
