Deputies noticed a vehicle speeding on Highway 160 near Ff and stopped the vehicle. The driver was 30-year-old Scott Evans. Evans did not have a valid driver’s license. Evans was arrested after allegedly telling the deputy that there were illegal drugs in the vehicle. A search was conducted, and a baggie containing a crystal-like substance, which tested positive as met,h was located along with three syringes. Evans was taken to the Howell County Adult Detention Center. Evans has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.
