Two people were injured in an accident north of Willow Springs on Friday. The Highway Patrol reports that a 37-year-old man from Willow Springs suffered serious injuries and a 19-year-old man from Willow Springs suffered minor injuries when the 37-year-old crossed the centerline and hit the vehicle driven by the 19-year-old, then traveled off the road and down an embankment. The accident happened on Highway 137, six miles north of Willow Springs.
Three people were injured in an accident west of West Plains Saturday afternoon. The Highway Patrol says that a 72-year-old woman from Zanoni suffered serious injuries, and a 65-year-old man from Zanoni and a 62-year-old man from West Plains both suffered moderate injuries, when the man from West Plains crossed the centerline and hit the vehicle the woman was driving head-on. The accident happened on Highway CC, three miles west of West Plains.
