The Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Aaron Wheeler as the cooperative’s new Chief Executive Officer and General Manager. Wheeler becomes just the fifth CEO/General Manager in the history of Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative since its founding in 1939. He most recently served as HOEC’s assistant manager, a role he has held for the past five years. Wheeler will officially assume his new position today, January 3, 2026. Cooperative officials say he looks forward to leading the HOEC team while continuing a focus on safety, service, and a strong year ahead in 2026.
