
OXFORD, Miss. — Darius Acuff, Jr. had 26 points and nine assists, and No. 15 Arkansas got double-figure scoring from five players in a 94-87 win over Mississippi on Wednesday night.
Trevon Brazile scored 18 points, Billy Richmond III and Meleek Thomas added 13 points apiece, and Karter Knox scored 10 in the balanced Arkansas performance.
Arkansas is at Auburn on Saturday.
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Mark Mitchell and Jayden Stone combined for 41 points, and Missouri ended the game with a 15-2 run to beat Kentucky 73-68 on Wednesday night for the Tigers’ first win in Lexington.
Missouri (12-3), which entered 0-9 at Rupp Arena, is also 2-0 in Southeastern Conference play for the first time. It was Kentucky’s (9-6, 0-2) first SEC home-opening loss since 2013.
Missouri is at Ole Miss on Saturday.
KENNESAW, Ga. — Simeon Cottle scored 25 points as Kennesaw State beat Missouri State 90-80 on Wednesday night.
Michael Osei-Bonsu led the way for the Bears (9-6, 3-1) with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and two steals. Keith Palek III added 17 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and two steals for Missouri State. Kobi Williams had 14 points and two steals. The Bears ended a five-game winning streak with the loss.

JONESBORO, Ark. (1/7/26) – Five Red Wolves reached double figures on the scoreboard as Arkansas State men’s basketball (11-5, 3-1 SBC) returned to the win column with an 86-74 victory over Troy (10-6, 3-1 SBC) on Wednesday night inside First National Bank Arena.
Christian Harmon (18) led the Red Wolves’ offense while Chandler Jackson (17), Jaxon Ellingsworth (14), Matt Hayman (13), and Joey Chamma (11) also surpassed 10-plus points in the contest. Jalen Hampton led the team with seven rebounds while Hayman posted a team-high four assists.
Arkansas State hosts Texas State on Saturday.
