On Wednesday, the Thayer-Mammoth Spring Rotary met for their weekly meeting. At the meeting this week were guest speakers Donna Martin who serves as Mayor of Thayer and Brent Collins who serves as City Clerk. Donna and Brent gave the Rotary an update on what the city has been working on. One of the biggest things Mrs. Martin spoke about was working with SCOCOG to form a five year comprehensive plan starting January 11th. With the plan in effect it will help with grant funding that could for a parks program Donna speaks about it.
Then she spoke more about Sherwood Park and a possible pee wee baseball complex.
Then she spoke about the removal of the old city pool and a possible multi-purpose building.
