An 18-year-old West Plains woman was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Ozark County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m. on January 8 along U.S. Route 160 west of Cloud Nine Ranch. Troopers report the westbound 2024 Volkswagen Atlas ran off the roadway and struck a sign, a tree, and a utility pole before coming to rest partially in the roadway. The driver, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, sustained serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment.
