Saturday, Deputies with the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office have arrested William J. Norris on Birch Tree in connection with a shooting/assault investigation stemming from an incident that occurred on November 10, 2025, at Birch Tree City Park. Norris has been charged with felony Armed Criminal Action and felony Assault in the First Degree – Attempt to Cause Serious Physical Injury or Involving a Special Victim.
Bond has been set at $100,000.00 cash only.
