
Two Koshkonong residents were injured in an accident south of West Plains on Monday. The Highway Patrol reports that a 9-year-old boy suffered serious injuries and a 37-year-old woman suffered minor injuries when the woman turned into the path of a pickup driven by a 32-year-old man from Thayer. The child was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on U.S. 63 three miles south of West Plains.
A man from Vanzant was injured in an accident west of West Plains Monday morning. The Highway Patrol says the 72-year-old man suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road and overturned the pickup he was driving. The accident happened on Highway CC, at County Road 4000, one mile west of West Plains. The man was flown to Cox South in Springfield.
