A West Plains man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when 28-year-old Samuel R. Parker, traveled off the left side of CC Highway about two miles west of West Plains, struck an embankment, and overturned. He was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment of serious injuries. Authorities say Parker is facing charges of driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, and additional traffic-related citations.
