The Thayer Bobcats improved to 7–8 on the season with a hard-fought Oregon County Showdown victory over the Alton Comets 74-68 on Tuesday night. The Bobcats were led by Hunter Trickler with 24 pts, Hollis Deckard had 17 pts, and Jayden Belcher had 14 pts. After the game, Head Coach Matt Pitts talked about the win.
The Zizzer boys beat Camdenton Tuesday night 68 to 52. Jared Kraft had 28 and Josiah Long had 16. Zizzer boys are now 6 and 8 on the season. Senior Jared Kraft also scored his 1,000th point in the game.
