Thayer beat Couch 73-60. Ryleigh Davis led the Lady Bobcats with 30 points, and Chloe Combs led the Lady Indians with 31 points. After the gam,e Thayer Head Coach Denny Young talked about the win.
The Tournament continues tonight with the Championship round.
5 pm, Liberty plays Bakersfield for the Consolation Trophy
6:30 pm, Dora plays Couch for third place
8:00 pm, Thayer plays Alton for the Championship on K-Kountry 95
The West Plains Lady Zizzers advanced to the championship game of the Bolivar Lady Liberator Tournament Wednesday night with a 71 to 37 win over Bolivar. Gillian Green led four Lady Zizzers in double figures with 22 points, Shaylee Peterson had 12, Ainsley McWilliams had 11, and Lucy Hafer had 10. The Lady Zizzers are now 13 and 5 on the season and will play the top see,d Rogersville, at 8:30 pm Thursday night for the championship. The game will be on 100.9FM “The Train”.
The West Plains Zizzer boys will travel to Springfield Parkview Thursday night to play the Vikings. The game was originally scheduled for Friday night, but has been moved up due to possible wintry weather. The game will NOT be on the radio.
