55-year-old Matthew Randolph Balsdon is charged with class Y rape, for sexual contact with a minor. Investigators allege the offense occurred in October, 2025. Balsdon was arrested earlier this month. Authorities say he also faces a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest. Bond has been set at $100,000 on the rape charge, with an additional $515 bond imposed on the resisting arrest charge.
