
An historic building in Thayer is coming down today. The Dutch Oven Drive-in is being demolished. The Dutch Oven was built in 1968 by Charles and Edna Eckman and was a big part of the community for years. The Dutch Over was later bought by Denton Alford and became Denton’s Place. Over recent years the building deteriorated and recently the property was purchased by Larry and Angela Burns. They also purchased the Old Rosella Johnson house and are demolishing them both now with plans to build on the Johnson property. ECNN spoke with Larry Burns and Jennifer Crask of Contract Pharmacy Insight Consulting.
