
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Trey Williams Jr. had 22 points in Missouri State’s 87-74 victory over Western Kentucky on Thursday.
Williams shot 7 for 15 (3 for 7 from 3-point range) and 5 of 7 from the free-throw line for the Bears (14-16, 8-11 Conference USA). Keith Palek III scored 18 points, shooting 4 for 7 (2 for 3 from 3-point range) and 8 of 10 from the free-throw line. Michael Osei-Bonsu finished with 16 points. The Bears ended a seven-game slide with the win.
PENSACOLA, Fla. (3/5/26) – Arkansas State men’s basketball (20-12, 11-7 SBC) made multiple rally efforts against Georgia Southern (18-15, 8-10 SBC), but ultimately fell short in an 80-77 decision on Thursday night inside the Pensacola Bay Center.
Matt Hayman led the team with 21 points while Jaxon Ellingsworth (18) and Chandler Jackson 12) also reached double figures. Jalen Hampton posted a team-high 12 rebounds while Jackson dished 10 assists to secure his first career double-double.
Mineral Area—The Missouri State-West Plains Grizzlies basketball season ended on Thursday in the Region 16 Semi-finals, losing to Mineral Area Community College 88-74. The Grizzlies finish the season at 11-20 and 1-12 in the conference.
