West Plains, MO. – The Chaos Closet has received a generous grant to help restock often-needed items to help local children in foster care.
The $12,500 grant will be used to replenish stocks of clothing, socks and underwear, car seats, hygiene items, and other necessities that are commonly given out by the non-profit, according to Executive Director DeeDee Button.
The funding source wishes to remain anonymous and instead focus on shedding a light on the reason the resource exists and is necessary in the first place. At the time of this press release, there are 138 children in foster care in Missouri’s 37th Judicial Circuit. The Chaos Closet works around the clock to step in and meet the immediate needs that these children may face.
The Chaos Closet is located in the heart of downtown West Plains and available by appointment only. For more information on The Chaos Closet and its programs to assist local foster families and children in foster care, visit www.thechaoscloset.com.
