28-year-old Zachary Michael Plant of Yellville allegedly held her down, choked her, and hit her several times. He also threatened to kill her and threw her phone away when she tried to call for help. Two children were present at the time of the incident. Plant is charged with felony aggravated assault on a family member, felony first-degree terroristic threatening, and felony third-degree domestic battery. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and one count of first-degree interference with emergency communications. He is free after posting a $25,000 bond.
