45-year-old Dewayne “Andy” Nelson was arrested after he allegedly kicked in a door while holding a rifle and demanded the woman tell him the location of her spouse. He then allegedly hit the woman and struck her chest with the rifle stock. He then left the scene and was involved in multiple crashes, drove over the curb at the Police Station, and almost hit the building. Nelson is charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon by exhibiting, and third-degree assault.
