26-year-old Taylor David Rhoades pleaded guilty to negligent homicide in connection with a fatal hit-and-run on Interstate 555 in June of 2025, killing Tyler Slayton and Jacob Ward, when his vehicle ran over the two men as they were changing a flat on the side of the road. Rhoades had a blood test that determined that he had the presence of meth in his system.
