Deputy Craig Kocka arrived at the scene of a fire on Tuesday night on Highway 5 South. Deputy Kocka learned that a female was still inside the burning Mobile Home. Kocka was unable to enter the home through the door, so he went to the end of the trailer and stood on the tongue so he could reach the victim, identified as 88-year-old Diana Shelton, who was taken to Baxter Health for smoke inhalation. Authorities believe the fire started in an oven on the back porch.
