WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Grizzly Esports Head Coach Nick Lawson has announced an updated format for the upcoming Ursa Minor Camp, transitioning to a structured day camp designed to better serve student players and families across the region.

The camp will take place June 15-19 at Champion Hall, running daily from 1 to 5 p.m., and the cost to attend is $50 per participant.

The Ursa Minor Day Camp will focus on a balanced approach to esports development. Each day will begin with dedicated instruction covering teamwork, communication, strategy, and player mindset, followed by guided gameplay sessions that include live coaching and structured competition. The week will conclude with a Friday tournament, where participants will compete in a bracket-style event.

“This shift allows us to provide a more focused and effective environment for player development,” said Coach Lawson. “We want students to walk away not just having fun but improving their skills and understanding of competitive gaming.”

Ursa Minor is part of Grizzly Esports’ continued effort to grow the esports ecosystem in our region by providing accessible opportunities for education, competition, and community engagement.
