The Highway Patrol reports that 32-year-old Phillip Emling suffered minor injuries when a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Richard Milder of Springfield merged into the vehicle that Emling was driving causing him to travel off the road and hit an embankment. Emling was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on U.S. 60 a quarter mile west of Norwood.
