The Highway Patrol reports that 28-year-old Brian Powell of West Plains was killed, and 20-year-old Taylor Hamby, 18-year-old Dakota Weet, and 18-year-old Calvin Brashears all suffered moderate injuries when Hamby drove off the road in a curve, struck three fences, and overturned the vehicle. The accident happened on Route ZZ, eight miles east of West Plains. All three of the injured were taken to Ozarks Healthcare.
