The Highway Patrol reports that the 16-year-old boy suffered moderate injuries when he failed to negotiate a curve, drove off the road, and hit a tree. The juvenile was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Horse Shoe Drive, four miles north of Houston.
