54-year-old Chris Woodson of Black Rock fled from police on Highway 63 between Black Rock and Portia. Woodson eventually stopped and then ran into the woods near Portia Bay. The Arkansas State Police and Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office assisted Black Rock Police in a search that ended in Woodson’s arrest. Woodson already had several outstanding warrants and now additional charges are expected. He was taken to the Lawrence County Detention Center.
