A man from Doniphan was flown to St Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau after wrecking a vehicle Saturday afternoon in Ripley County. 59 year old Jeffery Dovers suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road, struck and embankment and overturned. Dovers was also charged with Driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, no insurance and failure to display registration on a trailer. The accident happened on Brooks lane about 6 miles south of highway 160.
