The highway Patrol reports that 76-year-old Mitchell Casey suffered serious injuries when he drove across a yard, lost control, and hit a group of trees. Casey was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on private property on County Road 246, one-mile southwest of Drury.
