The Thayer Bobcats clinched a share of the SCA Title with a win last night against Liberty 71-43. The Bobcats improved to 17-8 on the season and 6-0 in the SCA. The Bobcats can win the SCA outright with a win Thursday against Cabool.
The Thayer Lady Bobcats beat Liberty 69-47. The Lady Bobcats are now 16-7 on the season and will wrap up the regular season at home on Thursday with Cabool.
The West Plains Zizzers and Lady Zizzers both suffered losses Tuesday against Rolla. The Lady Zizzers lost 64-59, Olivia Lawson led the Lady Zizzers with 16 points and Alyssa Joyner and Lucy Hafer had 12 points each. The Zizzers lost to Rolla 81-56, Brigg Hughston led the Zizzers with 14 points, Jared Kraft had 13 points and Josiah Long had 11 points.
The Alton Comets beat Doniphan Tuesday 74-69, the Comets had four players score in double figures, led by Dillon Weyland Cole Trantham with 19 points each, Dalton Paulette had 16 points and Marcus Cockrum had 15 points.
