Two West Plains men were arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol last night in Texas County on felony drug charges. The highway Patrol reports that 41 year old Jason Clevenger and 40 year old Michael Edwards were both arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and no seat belt. Clevenger was also charged with no insurance, and Edwards was also charged with possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana. Both men were taken to the Texas County jail then released.
