
A Bateville woman has been arrested following an investigation by the Arkansas Attorney General, Leslie Rutledge. 65 year old Vicki Chism a former billing clerk at Preferred Family Health is accused of making false statements causing the Arkansas Medicaid Program to overpay Preferred Family Health $589,000 from January 2015 to November 2015. She is charged with one count of Medicaid fraud. earlier this year the Attorney General announced the arrest of the former director of program integrity and director of operations Robin Raveendran of Little Rock, In august the director of billing Helen Balding was arrested on similar charges.
