PENSACOLA, Fla. – Caleb Fields led Arkansas State with 23 points and Freddy Hicks scored the game-winning jump shot with one second left as the Red Wolves took down Appalachian State 67-65 on Sunday night in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.

The No. 4 seed Red Wolves play second-seeded James Madison Today when they make their first championship game appearance since 2007.

 

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Mark Sears scored 22 points and Latrell Wrightsell Jr. had 20, including a game-tying 3-pointer with 22 seconds to go to force overtime, as No. 16 Alabama rallied to beat Arkansas 92-88 on Saturday.

Khalif Battle led Arkansas (15-16, 6-12) with 22 points and Makhi Mitchell scored 18. Tramon Mark scored 13 and Travon Brazille had 12.

 

BATON ROUGE LA.—-The Missouri Tigers wrapped up the regular season on Saturday with a loss to LSU 84-80. Sean East II led Mizzou with 26 points, and Noah Carter added 18. Missouri finishes the season 8-23 and 0-18 in the SEC.  The Tigers open play in the SEC tournament in Nashville on Wednesday against the Georgia Bulldogs.
