On Monday, a Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force (MJTF) served a search warrant in the City of Ava on Posey Street. The MJTF comprises officers from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Ava Police Department, and Ozark County Sheriff’s Office. 48-year-old Larry Dean Morrison Jr. of Ava was arrested and has been charged with felony first-degree Promoting Child Pornography, and two counts of Felony second-degree Possession of Child Pornography. Morrison is a prior felony offender. Numerous electronic devices were seized due to the search warrant and will be sent for digital forensic examination.
