Taylor Nelson was arrested after he allegedly refused to comply with a deputy working security at the Howell County Courthouse. When the deputy attempted to handcuff him, he slapped the deputy’s hands away and then after a struggle, hit the deputy in the head. A second deputy then attempted to help and a deputy’s microphone was destroyed. A third officer stepped in and the three got Nelson under control. He was arrested on charges of third-degree Assault- Special Victim and Resisting/Interfering with arrest for a felony. The bond was set at $25,000.00.
