The West Plains Public Library has announced that its collection of thousands of materials is about to expand to millions.
According to Dr. Greg Carter, the manager of the West Plains library, its membership with the Missouri Evergreen Consortium will grow resources from about 75,000 different pieces to over four million. He said a new library catalog and app has launched as well. The consortium facilitates libraries borrowing materials from other libraries.
