Controversy is swirling around the March 19th shootout between the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and the former executive director of Little Rock’s Clinton National Airport.
That’s when federal agents made a no-knock raid on the home of Bryan Malinowski. The feds’ official position, in an unsealed affidavit, alleges that Malinowski was unlawfully selling guns without a license. It’s the top story not only in Little Rock media but amongst the legal community where there is an ongoing debate between lawyers and federal agents as to what constitutes a private gun sale and an illegal sale slipping through a gun show loophole.
According to the affidavit, as of February 2024 six of more than 150 guns Malinowski purchased and often resold at the gun shows were seized in criminal activity. As for Malinowski, it took two days before he finally succumbed to his wounds this past Thursday.
