A man from West Plains suffered serious injuries in an accident east of West Plains on Thursday. 29-year-old Justin Heath was injured when he hit the rear of a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Daniel Brown of Poplar Bluff. Brown was not injured. The accident happened one mile east of West Plains on Highway 160.
An Ava woman was injured in an accident on Highway JJ in Ozark County on Thursday. The Highway Patrol says that 55-year-old Teresa Miller suffered serious injuries when she drove off the road, struck an embankment, and overturned. She was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Two local residents were injured in an accident in Maries County on Thursday. 21-year-old Timothy Blanks of Summersville suffered serious injuries and 48-year-old Billy Garrett of Doniphan suffered minor injuries when the car the Blanks was in failed to yield and hit the Semi that Garrett was driving. The accident happened on Highway 63, north of Vichy.
