
In Baxter County, two are arrested for defrauding an out-of-state elderly woman.
The duo faces felony charges of financial identity fraud, nonfinancial identity fraud, and four misdemeanor charges of fraudulent use of a credit. 24-year-old Jacob Edward Swadley of Mountain Home and 32-year-old Jessica Lindsey Raymond of Midway are charged with texting a 77-year-old woman in Oklahoma, claiming to be the woman’s granddaughter. Those text messages sent to the woman said it was an emergency and that it was required she send her information about her financial institution.
