A man from Mountain Grove was injured in a motorcycle accident west of Mountain Grove on Sunday. 20-year-old Everett Bishop suffered serious injuries when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road, and was ejected from the motorcycle. Bishop was taken to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway N, eight miles west of Mountain Grove.
A woman from Dora was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Douglas County Friday. 36-year-old Miranda Carter suffered moderate injuries when 37-year-old Johnathan Bardgett of Drury lost control of the pickup he was driving and crossed the centerline hitting a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Coldin Carter of Dora. The accident happened on Missouri 14, three miles west of Siloam Springs.
Two people were injured in an accident Saturday morning in Texas County. The Highway Patrol says that 63-year-old Elizabeth McNeese of Solo suffered moderate injuries and 23-year-old Randolph Perkins from Gulfport, Mississippi suffered minor injuries when McNeese pulled into the path of the vehicle that Perkins was driving. The accident happened on Highway 63, five miles south of Houston.
