The Chiefs have a major decision to make in regard to one of the team’s key wide receivers who gained notoriety ahead of the Super Bowl.
On Thursday, the Kansas City Chiefs faced a major deadline for one of the team’s key wide receivers, Kadarius Toney. NFL teams have until Thursday to exercise a 5th year option on his contract.
The move follows frustration from Toney during the Chief’s latest Super Bowl-winning season. He had several key dropped passes. He had also been put on the injury reserve a list a week before the big game following a rant on social media.
However, last week, Chiefs General Manager Brett Veach called Toney the team’s most talent wideout.
