A Mountain Home man charged with assault, mischief and harassment negotiates with the Baxter County Circuit Court on his bond
Last year, 52-year-old Brian Radcliff was charged with pushing a man’s truck and trailer off the road; that allegedly escalated from a disagreement over the purchase of the trailer. Now Radcliff’s lawyer says his client is having trouble buying food or making his rent and he’s asked the court to allow a substitution bond of the original $15,000- a bond written by a bail bond company, which only requires that ten percent of the principal be paid. The motion was approved by the Baxter County Circuit Court this past Monday. The bond is now increased to $25,000 and Radcliff will be drug tested every week.
