On 04/20/24, Ozark County dispatch received a report of two males who were connected to some fraudulent checks cashed in Arkansas, and were believed to be headed into Ozark County and a description of their vehicle was relayed to the deputies. A vehicle was stopped in Gainesville as they were attempting to pass through the county. The driver, Vantrez Jones had an active felony warrant for his arrest out of state. K9 Karo alerted to the car for narcotics inside. A search of the vehicle was conducted and meth and paraphernalia were located inside. Both Jones and Dustin Harrington were arrested and booked.
