A woman from Myrtle was injured in an ATV accident Sunday evening east of Myrtle. The Highway Patrol reports that 31-year-old Desiree Combs suffered moderate injuries when she overturned the ATV and was ejected. Combs was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on County Road 278, one mile east of Myrtle.
Two Minnesota residents were injured in an accident in Texas County Sunday morning. 19-year-old Elana Anderson suffered moderate injuries and 45-year-old Debra Anderson suffered minor injuries when the vehicle they were in hit a deer on Highway 63 south of Houston. Both Elana and Debra Anderson were taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital.
A West Plains man was injured in an accident south of West Plains Saturday. 20-year-old Malachi Henry suffered minor injuries when he drove off the roadway and struck a fence, overturned the car he was driving. The accident happened on county Road 6540, one mile south of West Plains. Henry was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. Henry was also charged with DWI, minor visible intoxicated, and careless and imprudent driving involving an accident.
