
On May 17th the Missouri Highway patrol stopped 37-year-old Jeremy Shelton and Douglas County Deputy, James Nelson, and K9 Zeus responded to assist Shelton denied consent to search the semi-truck so Deputy James Nelson deployed K-9 Zeus who indicated on the semi-truck for the presence of illegal narcotics. A search of the semi-truck resulted in a set of digital scales being seized that had a crystalline substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine and a broken “bubble” meth pipe that contained a crystalline substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. Shelton was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and a warrant for his arrest was issued with bond being set at $2,500 cash
