The NWS in Little Rock reports that an EF1 tornado touched down near Salem in Fulton County. Trees and power poles were knocked down and there were reports of structural damage but no injuries.
The National Weather Service in Paducah reports an EF2 Tornado in the southwestern part of Ripley County. The tornado lasted about 30 minutes and had wind speeds of 115 MPH. Again structural damage to homes was reported and several trees and power poles were down, but again no injuries.
