A Flippin woman leads law enforcement on a two-county car chase.
61-year-old Lynda Louise Woodruff tried to outrun police after a Cotter Police officer was behind her and ran the license plate on the vehicle she was driving. The plate checked out and Woodruff’s was on all the vehicles paperwork; her name also appeared on active warrant out of Baxter County, so she never stopped, continuing into Marion County at speeds of up to 80mph until she turned onto Highway 101, then several county roads where she almost hit several construction workers.
After coming to a dead end, Woodruff attempted to escape on foot but she got Tazed for her trouble and she was taken into custody.
She’s in the Baxter County Detention Center on a bond of $7,500.
