A four-vehicle accident, including two tractor-trailers, on Highway 160 sends a Springfield woman to the hospital.
That accident happened around 4:45pm yesterday afternoon when a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by 38-year-old Claire York of Springfield attempted to turn eastbound resulting in a chain reaction when she was struck by a 2023 International driven by 46-year-old Issac (I-dill-A) of Nixa, which caused him to hit a 2002 Kenworth driven by 34-year-old Roman Shulimov of Rogersville, who in turn hit a 2020 Ford Edge driven by 73-year-old Deborah Hawkins of Mountain Home. The Blazer and the International were destroyed, the Kenworth will need some work but the Ford Edge made out the luckiest with only moderate damage- York only had moderate damage as well, and she was taken to Baxter Health in Mountain Home.
