The Highway Patrol in Wright County arrested a Cape Girardeau man on Sunday. 37-year-old Jason Jones was arrested on charges of felony resisting arrest by flight, felony attempted assault on a law enforcement officer, felony armed criminal action using a vehicle as an instrument, careless and imprudent driving, and driving on the roadway in the wrong direction. He was taken to the Wright County jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
A Birch Tree man was arrested Sunday afternoon in Shannon County. The MSHP reports that 53-year-old Michael Fyffe was arrested on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Shannon County jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
