A man is found guilty of a Mountain Grove Church arson.
James Lee Hopkins found guilty Monday of starting the fire at the Southwest Baptist Church on June 10th, 2023. Multiple fire departments responded to the fire, including those from Cabooll, Houston, Mansfield, Norwood and Mountain Grove. Authorities say several rooms had been ransacked before the fire. He was found guilty of second degree burglary and 1st degree arson. He’ll be back in court for sentencing in September.
